What We Provide

We run independent cafés in office environments, providing a creative and wholesome range of freshly prepared and cooked meals.

It’s the perfect solution for offices who want to offer their staff a sociable meeting place with a professional food and drink offering but who don’t want the hassle of setting it up and running it themselves.

We can get involved from the outset for a new office building that’s being planned, working with the developer to plan the space and install the kitchen and equipment. Or we can create a new café in existing premises, or even take over a café that’s not being run properly or when the contract ends. We work quickly and efficiently and can get an existing café re-branded and up and running within 30 days.

Our Food Offering

We pride ourselves on our interesting and creative menu’s, where the hot food changes daily and the cakes are homemade. We only use the best ingredients, and our meals are freshly prepared and cooked on-site each day by a fully trained chef.

Tang Cafés provide a fast and efficient service, offering a wide range of breakfast and lunch items, as well as drinks and snacks, and can cater for meetings and events. Customers’ dietary requirements can easily be accommodated, with healthy, gluten-free and vegan options available, amongst other things.

Our ingredients are sourced directly from local, small and family-run businesses where possible. We only use Red Tractor farm assured poultry and meat, sustainably sourced fish and biodegradable packaging.

Starbucks Cafés

We have been a Starbucks Business Alliance Partner since 1999 and have set up a Starbucks-branded offering in many organisations in the West Midlands. We supply their food and drink products, menu boards and branded collateral for those customers that prefer a branded café in their office premises.

Our Catering Experience

Managing Director Andrew Cleary has been in the catering industry for over 30 years, starting with a high-end sandwich bar on Broad Street in Birmingham, before he moved into the contract catering business, where he and his team worked with £500k contracts for many blue-chip clients. Their contract retention rate is 100%, having never lost a client in all their years of working in the business.

They continue to run large catering contracts for customers such as the West Midlands Police and Atkins Global whilst also setting up independent Tang Cafés in offices in the West Midlands area.

Well-run on-site cafés that offer an appealing menu can be a great way of helping to attract new staff, retain existing ones and help increase their productivity.

They encourage staff to take an important break, offer stimulating social interaction, and also offer healthy but tasty sustenance. In addition, they typically reduce the amount of time an employee has on their break as they don’t need to go off-site.
